The Cherry Creek Trail started as a dream - a trail that would span 24 miles from Cherry Creek State Park to Castlewood Canyon
State Park. Crossing several cities and counties, the project needed a dedicated person to help bring the trail to fruition.
Dennis Niewoehner was that man. He helped bring together many miles of trail and is a major contributor to the trail as it is today.
